PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

THIS IS A HIGH-RISK ACTIVITY

This waiver should be completed by the legal parent or guardian of the undersigned child.

Read this document carefully and fully. It contains important information about the camp.

Activities Covered

This waiver applies to all activities at Special Ops Paintball Limited, including but not limited to Airsoft. These are active, physical, outdoor sporting activities that often involve eliminating opponents by firing BBs from airsoft guns.

Camp Hours

Drop Off: 9:45–10:00 | Collection: 2:00–2:15

Extended Care (9:00–3:00): €50 per child per week. Extended care must be booked in advance. Persistent early drop-offs or late collections without booking Extended Care may incur a €50 charge and/or forfeiture of your child's place.

Please Bring Each Day

• Packed lunch
• Plenty of water
• Sun cream applied before arrival and packed for reapplication
• Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear (no shorts, crocs or open-toe shoes)

Medical Information, Allergies & Medication

Please inform Special Ops Paintball Limited of any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or other health considerations relevant to your child prior to the commencement of camp. Please note that staff do not administer any medication. However, we can store medication on-site on your child's behalf. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that any required medication is clearly labelled with the child's name and accompanied by written instructions.

I Understand That:

1. My child is participating in an active, physical outdoor sporting activity. I confirm that my child is in good health and able to participate. If my child is unwell, I will ensure they notify a member of staff immediately.
2. There are hazards on site, including but not limited to man-made structures, fallen trees, dead branches, sharp objects, uneven ground, and holes. I will instruct my child to take due care at all times whilst at Special Ops Paintball Limited.
3. My child must participate in accordance with the stated rules and safety briefing. I will ensure my child listens carefully and asks questions if they do not understand.
4. This activity may involve risks of serious bodily injury, including bruising and broken skin from paintball or BB impacts, if my child does not participate according to the rules of the venue.
5. Removing the mask in the game area could result in serious eye and/or facial damage. I will instruct my child to keep their mask on at all times when outside the base camp.
6. IF MY CHILD REMOVES THEIR MASK WHILE IT IS DEEMED UNSAFE BY SPECIAL OPS PAINTBALL LIMITED, MY CHILD WILL BE PROHIBITED FROM PLAYING FURTHER, AND NO REFUND (PARTIAL OR FULL) WILL BE ISSUED.

I Confirm and Agree That:

1. I give my consent for my child to participate in any or all of the above-named activities. I fully accept and assume all such risks on behalf of my child and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of my child's participation, save where caused by the negligence of Special Ops Paintball Limited, its servants, or agents.
2. If my child has any injuries, illnesses, disability (whether physical or otherwise), requests, requirements, or any other special circumstances which may impact, impair, or in any way affect their ability to fully participate or which may endanger the safety of themselves or others, I will advise Special Ops Paintball Limited of the full nature and extent of such prior to registration.
3. Special Ops Paintball Limited will endeavour, where possible, to facilitate such requests where the same are considered to be safe, appropriate, and reasonably practicable. I understand that Special Ops Paintball Limited reserves the right to refuse admission and/or the right to play at any time.
4. I will ensure my child wears the provided or their own full-face protection (eye and mouth) and does not remove it while in the game area.
5. I will ensure my child wears suitable clothing and footwear at all times, including clothing that covers their arms and legs.
6. I will ensure my child follows all marshal safety rules and instructions presented during the safety briefing and throughout the sessions.

Cancellation Policy

• Bookings cancelled more than 14 days before camp may be transferred to another available camp date, subject to availability.
• Cancellations within 14 days of camp are non-refundable.
• If Special Ops Airsoft cancels a camp, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Balance Payment

The outstanding balance can be paid by card over the phone - please email your phone number and a suitable time to call, or payment can be made on the first morning of camp.

Photography and Video

I am aware that my child may appear in photos or videos taken by Special Ops Paintball Limited or other players, and I consent to the use of those images and content for promotional or marketing activities. If I do not wish for my child to be included in such images or videos, I will make this known in writing to Special Ops management before the commencement of play. I understand I may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting Special Ops Paintball Limited in writing.

CCTV and Security

CCTV and other security systems are operational across various areas of the premises, including, but not limited to, the car park, base camp, and game zone. These systems are implemented to ensure the safety and security of all patrons and staff. Any intentional interference with or damage to these systems by my child will incur liability for the costs of repair or replacement. Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), all personal data captured by CCTV is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws of the Republic of Ireland.

Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby give my consent for my child to participate in any or all of the above-named activities at their own risk. I release, discharge, and covenant not to claim against Special Ops Paintball Limited, its servants and agents, or any other individual acting on behalf and with the lawful authority of Special Ops Paintball Limited, other participants, and if applicable, owners/lessors of the premises on which the activity takes place (hereinafter called "Releasees") from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages in respect of personal injury or death, save where caused by the negligence of Special Ops Paintball Limited, its servants, or agents, and in respect of any damage to property or goods save where caused by such negligence.

Nothing in this agreement shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Indemnity

Subject to the limitations above, I further agree that if, despite this release, waiver of liability, and assumption of risk, I or anyone on behalf of my child makes a claim against any of the Releasees, I will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost which any may incur as the result of such claim, except to the extent that such claim arises from the negligence of the Releasees.

Declaration

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. I AM THE LEGAL PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF THE CHILD NAMED BELOW AND HAVE THE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO SIGN ON THEIR BEHALF. I SIGN THIS AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
